- ONE LAST NOTE -
Welcome to patRIOTS. There are a few rules you have to follow by, if you don't, the staff will have to take action.
First and most importantly, staff has the final say always. We don't mean to be rude, but there are no ifs, ands, or buts about it. We run on the simple base bale system. Basically three strikes and your out. The staff will only give you three warnings, if you don't follow the rules after that, you will be banned. We like to keep thing laid back and friendly on this site, and we wouldn't want to ruin it. Fighting is not allowed on this site. If you have a problem, please message the staff account and we would be happy to resolve it. NO STEALING. basically explains itself, if you use something that was made by someone else please credit them, and if you see something on here that you would like to use somewhere else, please ask permission of the maker first and with their permission, be sure to give credit.
- CHARACTER REGISTRATION -
Thank you for giving this site a chance and joining, we promise you won't forget it. Now to cover the basics: One character per account. We currently have a five account limit and we ask that at least on of those be a male; if you want to discuss this particular rule just PM the staff account. Now, when you have decided what character you are going to play, please, for the sake of continuity, make sure that your profile name has the first, middle and last name of your character all LOWERCASE. It really does keeps everything neat and organized and looks great. If your character goes by a nickname then it's best to use it as your name instead, but if you're unsure what to do just ask and we'll help you out. After that situation is settles, and after you're done reading these rules, fill free to head over to the application board and start to fill out your application. We do have a few more notes to read, it's not that long we swear and it's worth it, so be sure to give it a glance.
- ROLE PLAYING -
This is an intermediate roleplaying site, but we allow all kinds of roleplayers on this site. We're a pretty welcoming site, however, when you post, we do expect our members to be pretty literate and to use spell check and proper grammar. NO text talk, like lol or rofl in your posts. Please leave that sort of talk in the cbox, or in the ooc boards. All posts should be in third person. If you don't know what that is, we ask that you 1) Google it and 2) start paying attention in your English courses. We do have a 200 word count minimum, it's not hard to get, and we expect all our members to reach that limit. Our rules phrase is: we 'bout to start a patRIOT. We don't mind cursing or swearing, but please be realistic. Also we do accept mature content: sex, drugs, etc. since life itself is rated mature, but again be realistic. If you are in mature thread, please put "[M]" in the title and make sure you tag the person you're roleplaying with in the thread. It helps us keep this board kid friendly. That being said, the rules states that all sites have to be 13+ friendly! Please keep it that way.
- GRAPHICS -
We love graphics. You love graphics. For the sake of our board, so we don't stretch anything, please don't make your graphics bigger then 500x350. No pornographic, offensive or generally inappropriate pictures in your signature, don't be afraid to ask any of the staff about making graphics, We would be more then happy to make you some.
- ONE LAST NOTE -
We really do hope you enjoy your stay here at patRIOTS, don't fret over these rules they're just protocol. Have as much fun as you possibly can, start threads, meet the other members, make friends and if any questions please don't be afraid to ask us via PM or just someone in the cbox. It really isn't that big of an issue. OH BTW the second part of the rule phrase is: stand your ground. Bet your mouth just dropped with shock. Yes, we're that good. (: Seriously though- don't forget this site is for entertainment purposes!
